GS 700

GS 700 is a zero unit course that allows students to continue working on their thesis and final graduation requirements if not completed by the time they finish their other program coursework. Students need to register for GS 700 each semester after completing their course work, in order to maintain status without graduating. Students need not register for this course in winter and summer terms, unless they are graduating that semester.

Students eligible to enroll in GS 700 through University College and Extension Services (UCES) are required to have a signed authorization form by the Graduate Advisor from their department. This form can be obtained through UCES or your department office.

To register for this course, take the signed authorization form to UCES Registration Office, located at

UCES Registration Office,
Foundation Building,
6300 State University Drive, Suite 100.
Long Beach, CA 90815,
(562) 985-5561

The fee to register for GS 700 is $237.00, effective from FALL 2009 term. It can also be mailed to UCES if you are not able to register in person.

NOTE: Your graduation date must not have passed in order to register for GS 700. You are responsible for maintaining your graduation progress.
