At CSULB, the department assumes that people coming from other countries might not satisfy all the requirements to be eligible for graduate studies. Following this, upon your arrival here, you have to make an appointment with the graduate advisers of the respective departments to inform them the complete courses you took in your bachelors.
If the adviser feels that the student has not met the required coursework during his/her bachelors program, the student is made to take a few prerequisite courses. Most of the undergraduate students from our indian universities do not face this situation and often they are given a clean chit in this regard so there is nothing much to worry about.
