Hermanas Unidas
Purpose
- To provide resources and leadership opportunities for Latina/o, college students and graduates by participating in and organizing community service events, social activities, and academic/professional workshops.
- To reach out to the Latina/o community and provide resources as well as a family networking system through the avenues provided by the three pillars of Hermanas Unidas, academics, community service, and social events.
- To provide a place where students can come together and be themselves. We accept all ideologies. We are a sisterhood attempting to provide a healthy transition to and from the university.
- To raise awareness and educate the campus and the community at large about Latina/o issues.
- To provide opportunities for community and campus service.
