Greetings from the President of Chapter 315!

 

Welcome!

As your Chapter President, I wish to thank you on behalf of my Executive Board and Stewards for visiting our new website.  The California State University Employees Union represents 16,000 employees statewide. We have been an association for more than 70 years, and incorporated in 2005. Every CSU campus has its own CSUEU Chapter, including the Chancellor's Office. Our Chapter is one of the largest in the CSU system, and we represent nearly 1100 employees on our campus in Bargaining Units 2, 5, 7 & 9.

I would like to take this opportunity to describe some of the services of the services our Chapter leadership. Bargaining Unit Representatives and Stewards provide to you.  We are here:

  1. to help you understand your rights as an employee with the CSU.
  2. to keep you current on events that affect you as an employee at CSULB.
  3. to inform you about the benefits you receive as a dues-paying member of CSUEU.
  4. to represent you when you need an advocate to project your rights.
  5. to assist the bargaining teams who fight for your wages, benefits, and working conditions.

We invite all of our members to attend the quarterly Chapter meetings to keep you informed, and also give you an opportunity to voice your concerns and ask questions.  We also plan other events in collaboration with the other unions on campus to show our unity.

Please feel free to contact me if you need information, have an idea for a future event, or wish to express an opinion to strengthen our union.
