Tau Beta Pi Social @ Huntington Beach!
This is a first in a long time but we're doing it! That's right, Spring semester is quickly coming to a close and summer is approaching. In celebration, the California Theta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi is having a Beach Party/Bonfire Social. Read on for the details!
Who? Where? When?
Here are the basic details of the event.
- Who's invited?
- We want every Tau Beta Pi member and eligible member to come and have a great time getting to know everyone and networking. This will be a great time for all and long over due. Since this is the first in a while and the purpose is to build a network and get to know your fellow members/eligibles and make friends, we want to limit the social to TBP members and eligibles only please. If you know a member or someone who is eligible but did not receive this please let them and us know. If you know other TBP members from other chapters, please feel free to send them this webpage. If you are an eligible member and have not made it to the meetings please come and we'll help you get the ball rolling towards your membership.
- Where will this super cool Tau Beta Pi Social be held?
- Huntington State Beach
- The beach is located opposite Magnolia Avenue on Pacific Coast Highway.

- Saturday, March 25
- 2:00pm to 10:00pm

- Jason will be at the social the whole time, so give him a call if you get lost or have any questions.
Other things you should know...
The chapter will provide a BBQ and hot dogs with condiments. If you would like something different please bring it along with drinks for yourself. If you're feeling generous please bring something you can share with others; chips, cookies, side dishes, blankets (share at your own risk!). You may also want to bring:
- Games / Sports Activities Equipment
- Towels
- Chairs
- Smoores Stuff (marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers)
- Skewer Sticks
- Homework (what ever it takes to get you there!)
- Good TBP attitude and desire to have a good time!
We're gonna light it up as the sun goes down with a roaring bonfire. We will bring as much firewood as we can but if you have some please bring it, we should be able to get a couple of pits going! The beach closes at 10pm and we plan on helping them close it down so bring warm clothes.
