Student Dietetic at CSULB

Organization Information
The Student Dietetic Association provides a framework for student and faculty involvement in campus, community, and professional activities. The club promotes interest and opportunity in the profession of dietetics and food administration. The Student Dietetic Association allows the students to broaden their educational experience through nutrition related activities. Members have the opportunity to become active with the American Dietetic Association at national, state, and local levels. The Student Dietetic Association will expand the knowledge and experience of its members and the community.
Objectives:
- To acquaint students with aspects of dietetics and food administration.
- To broaden the scope of educational experiences through nutrition related activities.
- To provide nutrition information to the community.
- To provide opportunities for members to become active with the American Dietetics Association at national, state, and local levels.
- To encourage student participation and membership in student and professional organizations.
- To provide information on internships.
- To provide orientation and peer advising for dietetic students.
- To improve communication among students and faculty of the department

- Day(s): 3rd Thursday of the month
