SIGN UP FOR THE SAM AND HSBA INTERVIEW SUMMIT ON NOVEMBER 23rd, FALL 2009.

The Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) and the Hispanic Students Business Association (HSBA) are student organizations in the College of Business at California State University, Long Beach that help ease students’ transition from college to career.  In this endeavor we are asking for your help by participating in a mock-interview event at CSULB on November 23, 2009 to strengthen your job interviewing skills.

Given that the purpose of the event is to help students with their interview skills, students and interviewers will be randomly assigned to rooms prior to the day of the program. Prior to the event, interviewers will be provided with the résumé of each student they will interview.  In addition, résumés of all other participants will be provided to interviewers in the event that they wish to follow up with specific students regarding actual positions.
Here are the details for the event:

  • What:    Mock interviews
    • Conducted during 20 minutes segments with a 5 minute break in between (10 total interview slots per company; 9 interviews if lunch break is scheduled). There are 8 Companies total
  • When:   November 23rd, 2009 from 10 A.M. – 2 P.M.
  • Where: California State University Campus, Career Development Center (Room 251)
  • How do I participate? Fill out the form below and submit your resume and cover letter if you have one, they will be forwarded to all of the companies.
