Why are we called PAC RIM?

The club began as the original international business club in CSULB.  Created in 1986, PAC RIM's interests lie mostly with the business conducted within the Pacific Rim Region.  The Pacific Rim region consists  of a community of nations such as the US, Canada, China, Australia, Korea, Mexico, and the Philippines.  This area is where most of the global business transactions take place.  PAC RIM organization then expanded to focus on global business throughout the world.  Today, PAC RIM is dedicated to providing its members with a link to the global business world, while at the same time having a FUN-filled experience .
