CSULB International Business Association


About IBA

The CSULB chapter of IBA is a subsidiary of the International Business Association of Southern California. It is a student-run organization committed to providing its members with a tangible understanding of international business and global issues through incomparable networking opportunities with multinational corporations, professional trade associations and others within the business community.

IBA furnishes its members with the appropriate resources and exposure necessary to develop exceptional leaders and driven team players. Special speakers, workshops, professional events and social events are exclusively coordinated to encourage proactive participation that goes beyond nominal book learning to help its members find valuable internships and careers.

Regular meetings are held on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 PM in CBA 228. Prospective students are always welcome!



Mission

The mission of the International Business Association of California State University Long Beach is to fully prepare our members for leadership roles in the global marketplace by exposing them to issues pertaining to international business without regards to national, regional, industry, ethnic, or discipline boundaries through our connections in the most prestigious of professional trade associations and the business community.



Goals

  • Promote:awareness, knowledge & understanding within the field of international business

  • Emphasize:the importance of building international relations with today's capital markets heading more towards true globalization

  • Create:an environment that will help aid student development within & beyond their collegiate & professional careers
