Year @ CSULB: Junior Why did you decide to join HRMA: To learn more about HR and to improve my
leadership. Future career plans/dreams: Because I have too many plans and dreams, my friends believe that I think too much. Why did you decide to go to CSULB: I am an international student who came from a very hot place. I chose CSULB because it is in California which has a nice weather. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I want to go everywhere because I like to travel. My dream travel plan is a trip around Europe.

Why did you decide to join HRMA: I joined HRMA to further my under-standing of the HR field; gain insight and perspective from speakers, alumni, and professors; and of course to make friends in my major.
Future career plans/dreams: Upon graduation this Spring, I would like to pursue a career as a HR professional. I would also like to get my MBA and become PHR certified.
Why did you decide to go to CSULB: My dad and my sister both went to CSULB, so I decided to carry on the family tradition.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I would go to London, England—it's by far my favorite place to travel. I've been there four times already and I can't wait to go back!
Year @ CSULB: This is my fourth year at CSULB. Why did you decide to join HRMA: I decided to join HRMA for many reasons, but most importantly to network. Future career plans/dreams: After graduating, I plan on getting into a master's program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Why did you decide to go to CSULB: I decided to go to CSULB because it was not too far from home, quite a few of my friends were going go here, and my parents wanted me to attend a four year college instead of OCC. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: There isn't one place in particular I would like to go, but I definitely want to travel EVERYWHERE and see EVERYTHING throughout the course of my lifetime.

Why did you decide to join HRMA: joined HRMA to make friends and know more about HR field.
Future career plans/dreams: I am still working on this one.
Why did you decide to go to CSULB: I decide to go to CSULB for the business program and the location.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I would travel to Thailand because my friends and family have gone and they have told me wonder-ful and interesting observations about the country and its people.

Year at CSULB: Senior Why did you decide to join HRMA: Once I selected HR as my major I wanted to join an organization that would expand my knowledge in a social setting. HRMA is a great way to meet a lot of people who I'll probably keep in touch with for years to come. Future/Career Plans: One of the most important things to me is to be able to fly all over the world and live life because it's an adventure. As for career plans, Human Resources of course is one of them. I'd like to get my PHR certification, work 1-2 yrs then go to Grad school and get a Masters. I'm also interested in Residential Appraising and hope to have that as a side career. Why did you decide to go to CSULB: I choose Long Beach because I like the area, weather, and there seems to be more career opportunities. When I first attended Long Beach it was my first time moving out of my parents house and it was very different for me. I never knew how independent and self-driven I was until that happened and I grew a lot more from all my experiences here at Long Beach. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I've always wanted to travel to Italy just because of how beautiful it is. My next choices would be Lon-don or Great Britain.

Why did you decide to join HRMA: To gain the knowledge about my major outside of class; to be involved on campus; and to open a new social network.
Future career plans/dreams: Obtain an MBA from any UC and work in the HRM field.
Why did you decide to go to CSULB: Because nothing can be compared to the BEACH!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I would travel all around South America because I'm interested in the Spanish speaking countries and their cul-ture.
Year @ CSULB: Senior Why did you decide to join HRMA: Because I wanted to be a part of my school and it looks great on your resume! Future career plans/dreams: I am still in the middle of deciding this one. I would love to one day own a business. Why did you decide to go to CSULB: Because we have the nickname The Beach! The moment I walked on campus I knew this was the place for me If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I have always been fascinated by mummies, so I would love to go to Egypt. The culture and scenery seems like it would be unforgettable.
Year @ CSULB: Senior Why did you decide to join HRMA: I'm in my senior year and my minor is Human Re-source so at the moment I am taking a lot of HR classes. Therefore, I joined the club be-cause I believe it would be a good way for me to get to know a lot of the people who are most likely going to be in my classes. Future career plans/dreams: I am planning to be a high school guidance counselor. Why did you decide to go to CSULB: What lured me into attending CSULB was the Human Development major that is offered here. Human Development encompasses the anthropological, sociological, and psychological perspectives on human development which is what I am interested in learning about. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: I would like to go to Paris because I always hear about how beautiful it is and I just want to see it for myself. Also, I would like to go on the Eiffel Tower which is probably a given.
Year @ CSULB: Junior Why did you decide to join HRMA: Because it is a great way to meet people and it is fun! Future career plans/dreams: I plan to become a Human Resources Manager. Why did you decide to go to CSULB: Because it is one of the best campus's that has H.R. as a major. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why: The Fiji Is-lands because that is where my parents are from. Also it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
