4th Annual HFES Student Chapter Regional Conference
A local forum for the exchange of ideas in all areas of human factors, and an opportunity to meet students in the MS Human Factors Psychology Program at Cal State Long Beach and surrounding schools.
Speakers will address a wide range of human factors issues of interest to practitioners, researchers, and students and in the field of human factors. A poster session will provide students and professionals an opportunity to present research and human factors projects. A student panel discussing local issues relevant to students and professionals.
Those who wish to participate may submit posters which will be on display during the poster session. Students are encouraged to submit.

Our Purpose:
(1) Promoting the awareness of how human factors/ergonomics issues are related to many disciplines and careers.
(2) Exposing students to an interdisciplinary approach to the design, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of products and systems.
(3) Providing a forum for the presentation, discussion, and investigation, of human factors and ergonomics issues.
(4) Providing students with the opportunity to enhance professional development, community service, and networking with other students, faculty, and professionals interested in human factors and ergonomics issues.
