How to Join?? It's easy just fill the application form and then give it to any Eboard members during the meeting.

 

Requirements for Financial Management Association:

• No Specific Major Required (ANY MAJOR CAN JOIN)
• No GPA Required
• Choose and Pay for one year($65) or two years($90)

 

Requirements for FMA National Honor Society

• No Specific Major Required (ANY MAJOR CAN JOIN)
• 3.25 Overall GPA OR 3.25 GPA in finance & related coursework
• Completion of a minimum of six (6) units of finance

CSULB FMA Stock Game

 

Welcome to CSULB FMA Stock Game! The object of the game is to have the best portfolio by the end of the semester. To join the game, click the following

link to sign up. The game will start on September 16, 2009 and end December

2, 2009. The winners will recieve their price on the December 2 FMA meeting. Anyone can play!

FMA CSULB Semester Point System

 

FMA wants to recognize you for being an active member of our organization!
Each member will be awarded various points when they participate in organization events throughout the spring semester.

How Can I Earn Points?
Point Breakdown:
-   Attend a general meeting (2 points)
-   Attend a social event (3 points)
-   Attend/participate in a community service event (5 points)
-   Attend/participate in a fundraising event (5 points)
-   Wear your FMA t-shirt to a general meeting/event (1 point)
-   Bring a friend to a general meeting/event (2 points)
-   Volunteer at FMA events to help set up, clean up, bring food, etc. (4 points)

A sign-up sheet will be set up at each event. Members are responsible for signing themselves in to receive their points.

What are the benefits of participating?
Awards/Recognition
-  The member who has accumulated the most points during each month of the ---semester will be recognized as the “FMA Member of the Month”.
-  FMA Member of the Month Award will include:
------------>  Recognition on FMA’s website with your picture.
------------>  Award certificate
------------>  A great addition to your resume!
-   At the end of the semester, the member who has accumulated the most ---------- points overall during the spring semester, will be recognized as “FMA ----------- Superior Member of the Semester”.
-   FMA Superior Member of the Semester will include:
----------->  Recognition on FMA’s website with your picture.
----------->  Award certificate
----------->  $25 gift card
----------->  A great addition to your resume!

* In order to participate in the semester contest, you must be a paid member of the Financial Management Association.
