The California State University Long Beach chapter of Engineers Without Borders is a newly established student chapter of EWB-USA, a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineering professionals. The mission of Engineers Without Borders - USA (EWB-USA) is to partner with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineering students.
