I'm extremely happy to announce our Industry 241 projects. We have a lot on the table, but with your involvement, I know that we can make this a big success. Not only will these projects give you real-life marketing experience, but it will look great on your resume, and you will walk away with a lasting legacy that others in the marketing field may never get to experience. Spots are very limited, so be sure to sign-up fast! Industry 241 is exclusive to National members, so if you haven't already, please fill out the national membership application and turn it into us! We have three projects that we'll be collaborating on throughout the remainder of the semester and I'll be outlining them briefly in this blog. If any of these come of any interest to you, I encourage all of you to take part!
1) Dominos Pizza
- Come up with a marketing campaign for a 30 second or less
viral marketing video and student promotion/pricing points.
Looking to finish project mid-October.
2) National Case Competition -
Unicef TAP Project
- Come up with a marketing campaign for this
project. Short history: restaurants asked customers to
donate $1 to Unicef to provide water for 40 days to children
in Africa. A worthwhile campaign and a competition to
represent CSULB!

Thanks to all those who came out to join us at Paramount Iceland for Broomball. It was such a great event with an AMAzing turnout! We had about 150 people tearing it up on the ice socializing, dancing, and having a great time. The music definitely enhanced the atmosphere! Check the pictures out on our Flickr site! I know you all can't wait for next semester. Stay tuned in because we'll be having our next social at Frisco's on Los Coyotes Diagonal for Karaoke!
