Organization Information
Statement of Purpose:
To provide CSU Long Beach students with
- A holistic campus organization encompassing the Health Fields of Chiropractic, Dentistry, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Veterinary Medicine.
- The necessary information in being admitted to the various professional schools.
To show prospective employees and professional health schools throughout the United States and beyond that pre-health professional students at CSU Long Beach are competitive as well as intellectually and emotionally motivated to become professionals representing each of the Health Fields.
Club Activities and Benefits to Members
- Meet admissions officers, alumni, and current students from Chiropractic, Dentistry, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Veterinary Medicine, and other professional schools
- Learn how to best prepare your application for professional school
- Become acquainted with other pre-health students
- Receive invitations to pre-health conferences
- Take advantage of discounts on study materials for College Admissions Tests (MCAT, PCAT, etc)
- Participate in various community service activities
- Be mentored by our older, more experienced members
- Gain insightful information from our rich alumni community
Membership:
The organization accepts new members without regard for sex, race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
Regular membership is limited to CSULB students whereas Faculty and staff at CSULB are eligible to ex-officio, non-voting members.
