College Signing Day: These students are CSULB-bound

Published April 28, 2022

It’s that time of year when college applicants make their final decisions, and those who have committed to Cal State Long Beach are already celebrating.

In 2014, former First Lady Michelle Obama started the initiative Reach Higher, and a year later declared May 1 as College Signing Day, which celebrates all students who decide to continue their education past high school. In fall 2021, a total of 39,435 students enrolled at The Beach.

Congratulations to everyone who has decided to make CSULB their next step. Below are a few students who are excited to start their journeys at The Beach.

I am so excited to join the vocal program at CSULB and audition for any vocal opportunity that I can. I’m also really excited to be living on campus instead of commuting all the time.
