College Signing Day: These students are CSULB-bound
It’s that time of year when college applicants make their final decisions, and those who have committed to Cal State Long Beach are already celebrating.
In 2014, former First Lady Michelle Obama started the initiative Reach Higher, and a year later declared May 1 as College Signing Day, which celebrates all students who decide to continue their education past high school. In fall 2021, a total of 39,435 students enrolled at The Beach.
Congratulations to everyone who has decided to make CSULB their next step. Below are a few students who are excited to start their journeys at The Beach.
My major is undeclared, and I’m most excited about meeting new people!

After 4 years out of school and much support from family and friends, I’m starting grad school this fall. Catch me at Cal State Long Beach, working towards a counseling MS in higher ed student development.

So excited to announce that I will be furthering my education at California Sate University, Long Beach and will be majoring in Pre-Nursing, on the path to become a Registered Nurse!

I am super excited to be in a new environment with new students and professors. I am also excited to attend the major athletic events that Cal State Long Beach has to offer!
