Black History month continues this week

Published February 25, 2020

Black History Month kicked off with a colorful celebration at the University Student Union and proceeded with a series of events to mark the achievements by African Americans and the central role of Blacks in U.S. History.

There is still time to join the festivities with three more events before the month wraps up, starting with Tuesday’s African Tea Ceremony in Room 205 at the USU.

On Friday, the 5th annual MLK Day of Service will begin on campus with carpool opportunities to off-campus sites. For information and registration, click here.

The final event is the 26th Long Beach Step Show on Saturday at Walter Pyramid. Show begins at 2:30 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m.
