Students to Donate a Meal from Meal Plan to Help Food Insecure peers

Feed A Need food drive: students donate one meal from their plan to help peers in need. Community members wishing to participate can donate to on-campus food pantry.

Student donations will occur from 8 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3 to Saturday, Feb. 9. 

All three dining halls: Beachside, Hillside, Parkside.

Nearly 38 percent of Long Beach State University students are food insecure. Since the Feed A Need program began in 2015, students have donated more than 8,200 meals from their meal plan to help struggling peers.
