Carlos Carlos is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, having received his B.M. in both music composition and jazz studies. He has sung with the Pacific Chorale and Opera Pacific and under the batons of Esa-Pekka Salonen, James Conlon, Andrew Litton, Keith Lockhart, and John Mauceri. He has served as both bass and tenor soloist in Handel's Messiah, and as tenor soloist in Mozart's Requiem and Great Mass in C Minor, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, and in Arthur Honegger’s Le Roi David.
Carlos currently sings with the Camerata Singers of Long Beach and at First Congregational Church of Long Beach where he serves as tenor soloist. Carlos has been a vocal student of Martin Green, Robin Buck, and Christine Guter and has studied composition under Gunnar Eisel, Norman Mamey, Dr. Carolyn Bremer, and Dr. Bruce Miller. He is currently a graduate student at CSU Long Beach working to receive his M.M. in vocal performance.
