Composers’ Colloquium

The Composers’ Colloquium is a weekly meeting for all composition students. The sessions include guest artists, lectures, and student presentations. Guest artists have included Daniel Asia, Jacqueline Bobak, Ryan Brown, Donald Crockett, Sarah Cahill, Gloria Cheng, Brian Current, E.A.R. Unit, Michael Gordon, Don Grantham, Stephen Hartke, Zygmunt Krause, Hanna Kulenty, Libby Larson, John Mackey, Ivo Medek, Gaylord Mowrey, Pablo Ortiz, Peteris Plakidis, Miroslav Pudlak, Vicki Ray, Aaron Smith, David Stanhope, Frank Ticheli, Joan Tower, Chinary Ung, Roger Ward, Dan Welcher, Chen Yi, Evan Ziporyn, and Yuris Zvikovs. Lectures are offered on such subjects as writing program notes, performance rights organizations, and publishing.
