Programs
at Annual IRA Convention
Annually the IRA L-SR SIG hosts a program at the national IRA convention. All conferees are welcome to attend our program, our annual business meeting, and an informal social event. All of these activities provide opportunities to network with others concerned about relating social justice and literacy.
Do you have information to share with others related to our goals? If so, consider submitting a proposal (link to proposal form), which is peer reviewed, to make a presentation at our forthcoming meeting. For more information, contact Andrea Karlin or Melanie Cohen Goodman. Hurry. The deadline to submit is May 20, 2011. The 57th Annual IRA Convention will be held in Chicago, Illinois, April 29 - May 2, 2012; our program is on Tuesday pm, May 1.
