The Board of Directors of the Forty-Niner Shops Inc. will have a vacancy in June for a representative of CSULB staff. Its corporate constitution provides for one staff member who serves a two-year term.

The Forty-Niner Shops is a nonprofit corporation that operates the bookstore and most of the campus food service. The staff board member must be able to offer time, energy and expertise to the organization as well as attend numerous meetings of the board during the academic year. A significant portion of board work is done by committees including Finance, Audit, Personnel, and Nominating. In addition to the staff member, the board is composed of two faculty, four students, two administrators and one community member.
