The College of Health and Human Services at CSULB will host the Latino Mental Health Summit on Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the campus' University Student Union.

Presented in conjunction with the regional Western Society for 18th Century Studies, the conference is the longest running event on campus.

A reorganization that separates intercollegiate athletics from club and recreational sports has resulted in the creation of the new Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the transfer of club and recreational sports to the Division of Student Services.

Grief and trauma haunt more than battlefields. In the experience of William Saltzman, a member of the Educational Psychology, Administration and Counseling Department since 2001, these painful experiences are also a common part of the lives of many children and adolescents in our communities. Saltzman is a clinical psychologist and internationally recognized expert on the treatment of traumatized youth and families.
