Employee Self-Service Coming To Your Desktop This Spring

Interested in viewing your paycheck history or payroll deductions? How about the details of health and dental benefits enrollments? Wouldn't you like to know how many hours of vacation and sick leave you have without asking your office timekeeper again and again? And can you remember who you designated as your emergency contact when you began working at CSULB all those years ago? Imagine how convenient it would be to have access to all this information and more on your very own personal university web page that is secure, up-to-date, and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the convenience of your desktop and can only be accessed with the use of your personal password and employee identification number.   

This spring, CSULB employees will be able to access their very own personal, confidential, and secure versions of “My CSULB” (my.csulb.edu) myCSULBsimilar to the student version in place. Powered by PeopleSoft application software, “My CSULB” is the information portal that not only gives employees access to view their benefits and pay-related information but also the ability to actually update their home phone number, mailing and home address, e-mail address, and emergency contact without making a trip to the Office of Payroll and Benefit Services in Brotman Hall or filling out a form.  

A kiosk will be available in Staff Personnel Services, in addition to the self-service kiosks in the atrium of Brotman Hall, for those who do not have access to a personal computer. Both faculty and staff are included in the project, and more information and training will be available in the coming weeks.
