Dede, Zentgraf Honored as Recipients of Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award Two professors at CSULB – Martha J. Dede and Kristine Zentgraf – were honored as recipients of the campus’ 2004-05 Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award, which is given annually to selected faculty in recognition of sustained excellence in teaching. Cox Sure Made One on These Students By Richard Manly Teacher Education's Carole Cox earned a special salute in Wisconsin July 1-4 when her former third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students from Shorewood Hills Elementary School organized a special reunion to recognize the impact she had on their lives.

29th season of Concerts
in the Grove Set to Begin

Entering its 29th season of providing entertainment under the stars, the Saturday evening Concerts in the Grove series at CSULB will run from July 16 through Aug. 20, featuring a variety of musical performances in the Hollywood Bowl-type atmosphere of the Soroptimist House terrace, located just off State University Drive.

CSULB Ranked No. 8 Nationally In Awarding Degrees to Minorities

CSULB has been ranked No. 8 in the nation among colleges and universities that conferred the most bachelor's degrees on minority students in 2003-04.
