CSULB Economic Forecast Predicts Increase in Job Growth, Softening Housing Sector for 5-County Region

A significant improvement in job growth in the Southern California region over the last year has researchers predicting even better growth in 2005 and 2006, according to a new forecast released by the Office of Economic Research (OER) at CSULB.

Deukmejians Donate $107,000 to Disabled Student Services

Former California Gov. George Deukmejian has donated $107,000 to the Disabled Student Services (DSS) program at CSULB. The money will be used to fund a campus scholarship in honor of the state's former first couple – the George and Gloria Deukmejian Scholarship for Students with Disabilities.
