The following is a list of upcoming workshops/classes put on through Staff Personnel Services to assist and inform employees in a variety of areas.

Friday, June 3, 9-10 a.m.
First Friday for Managers and Supervisors – Facilitated by Tom Angell, director of Staff Personnel Services, and Leslie Nix-Baker, director of Employee Relations. All managers and supervisors are encouraged to attend this monthly informative meeting. Held on the first Friday of every month, it is a great time to meet other managers, ask questions and stay updated on what's going on around the university. Each month a different management topic is addressed. No need to register online.

Thursday, June 16 , 9-11 a.m.
Demystifying the Classification Process – Facilitated by Ben Boish/Robyn Ames, classification managers from Staff Personnel Services, this workshop is designed to prepare staff going through cycle-review or for others who are interested in the classification and reclassification process. This two-hour workshop will go over the basics of classification, including the objectives of position classification, an explanation of the different types of classification reviews, tips for preparing for classification reviews, the reclassification and classification appeal process, and instructions for preparing position descriptions prior to a classification review.
