The College of Education at CSULB has been awarded a four-year, $1.975 million grant by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) for a project that will look at factors that have the potential to influence literacy development among Spanish-speaking children in Mexico.

Linguistics Chair John Attinasi recently received a yearlong grant of $14,268 from the U.S. Department of Education to fund the third year of a five-year project in support of the international Bilingual Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development (BCLAD) Certificate and Master's program.
