Workshops for Faculty and Staff
The following is a list of upcoming workshops/classes put on through Staff
Personnel Services to assist and inform employees in a variety of areas.
Friday, Dec. 17, noon-1:30 p.m.
Adult Children of Aging Parents - This workshop will be held in the
Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, Room 108. Anyone caring for an aging
relative or parent is invited to this monthly open forum. Prof. Jeanne Bader
from gerontology will facilitate the discussion.
Friday, Jan. 7, 9-10 a.m.
First Friday for Managers and Supervisors - This workshop is facilitated
by Tom Angell, director of Staff Personnel, and Leslie Nix-Baker, director of
Employee Relations, and all managers and supervisors are encouraged to attend
this monthly informative meeting. Held on the first Friday of every month, it
is a great time to meet other managers, ask questions, and stay updated on what's
going on around the university. Each month a different management topic is addressed.
No need to register online. Located in the Student Health Center, Room 118.
