Children from the campus Child and Family Center enjoyed an afternoon of reading in the University Library Children's Collection room during the first annual Intergenerational Reading Day on Dec. 3. Readers included librarians and adults from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences' Gerontology program, Child and Family Center, Sigma Phi Omega national gerontology honor society and the Senior University program.
Larry Horn, professor of sociology at Pierce College and father of CSULB faculty member Melanie Horn Mallers, read to Reno Costanza, while Joyce Thigpen shared a book with Arden Uy.
