Rideshare Program for Students, Faculty and Staff

CSULB’s rideshare program has a new Web site with new easy to use on-line forms and rewards system. On the site individuals can find information on:

  • the new U-Pass (students, faculty & staff ride free w/CSULB ID from Aug. 25- Sept. 30)
  • how to earn Cafe Piccolo gift certificates through rideshare programs
  • how employees (including student workers) can get subsidized bus passes or $1/day cash value rideshare rewards

The Employee Alternate Transportation Program is also continuing its promotion of the OCTA E-PASS, which is a magnetic card that you simply swipe when boarding the bus. No more hassles of having to purchase a monthly pass. Gone also are the days of making sure you have enough money in your pocket for a day pass. The E-PASS takes care of it all. The best part? The E-PASS is fress, completely subsidized by the rideshare program.

Additionally for your convenience, the E-PASS is a year-long pass that will not expire until May 31, 2009. For further information on the OCTA E-PASS or any other rideshare program, contact the rideshare office at 562/985-4091.
