The Office of University Research and the Faculty Center for Professional Development will hold its summer Scholarly Writing Institute (SWI) for faculty. The sessions will take place Tuesday-Thursday, June 3-5, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Karl Anatol Center.
The SWI is a three-day intensive workshop to assist faculty in completing a substantial amount of writing on a specific scholarly writing project.
The program will provide participants 20 hours of dedicated writing time and resource consultants who are recognized for their expertise in specific areas such as editing and statistical analyses.
Faculty interested in registering for the Scholarly Writing Institute are asked to have most of their research completed and to have a laptop computer available for their use.
It is important for faculty attendees to attend all three days of the workshop. You can access the SWI registration form at the Office of University Research Web site (see “Educational Opportunities”).
If you have any questions or need a registration form mailed to you, contact Robin Moore in the Office of University Research.
