CSULB President F. King Alexander announced today that the university has been awarded an additional $4.7 million by U. S. Department of Defense (DoD), through its Office of Naval Research, to support a Strategic Mobility 21 multi-year Joint Logistics Concepts Demonstration.
The California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC) awarded a four year, $950,694 grant to the Department of Science Education at CSULB to help improve science teaching in kindergarten through second grade.
Fulbright Grant Supports Prof’s Health Policy Research Project
Sociology’s Nielan Barnes spent her fall 2007 semester at Carleton University in Ottawa and will spend the spring 2008 semester at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico in Mexico City as part of her first-ever Fulbright award.
