Osher Institute Adds Classes

Beginning May 8, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at CSULB will make two new computer classes available. Due to popular demand, one class on File Management and one on Easy E-Mail using Windows XP will be presented.

File Management classes will be held on Wednesdays from May 9-30, from 3:15-5:15 p.m. This course will teach how to create folders, copy from one file to another, move, paste, delete, rename, file to the desktop and recover deleted files.

Easy E-Mail classes will be on Tuesdays running May 8-29, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. This class will teach the common features of all e-mail programs – replying, forwarding, attaching documents, attaching photos, building an address book, sending copies to others, sending blind copies. You will learn to organize your mail and to send mail to those on a mailing list.

If you have completed an intermediate computer course, you are qualified to take these courses.

The classes will be in the Human Services and Design Building in the OLLI Computer Lab, Room 100. Annual OLLI at CSULB membership is $40, prorated to $20 for spring and summer. The fee for each of these classes is $20.
