It’s Time For HomecomingPublished: November 1, 2013
There’s No Place Like The Beach.
That’s the theme for this year’s Homecoming on Saturday, Nov. 9, which staff and faculty members can attend for free.
The CSULB Alumni Association will host the Alumni and Friends tent with the campus community, alumni and friends of the university. A buffet featuring more than 20 items, a beer or soda, will take place from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Every guest will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win two round trip tickets on Jet Blue, an Ipad mini, a hotel stay, a custom Long Beach State golf bag, a black and gold beach cruiser, restaurant certificates and more. Tickets may be purchased in advance through the Alumni Relations office or on Homecoming Day. Winners need not be present to win.
Game ticket packages are also available and include the meal and a ticket for the men’s basketball game vs. the Hawaii-Pacific Sea Warriors tipping off at 3:05 p.m.
Staff and faculty can enjoy the buffet and attend the basketball game free as a guest of their vice president and bring guests for just $5 each. For tickets, contact your division liaison—Academic Affairs-Michelle Terry at 562/985-4546; Administration and Finance-Shirley Rousseau at 562/985-7117; Student Services-Maggie Elias at 562/985-5158; and University Relations-Sally Schliesmayer at 562/985-1606.
