Faculty RFP And Workshop For Alternative Spring Break

The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) has announced a teaching/service opportunity for CSULB faculty and is requesting proposals for Alternative Spring Break 2014-15. CCE is inviting faculty to submit proposals for the one-week spring break program that will fit into the University 300I course, as well as a syllabus that aligns the program with the course work. Proposals are due Thursday, Oct. 24.

The CCE and The Faculty Center for Professional Development (FCPD) are offering a workshop for faculty interested in assistance with alternative spring break proposal development. The workshop is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27, noon to 2:30 p.m., in the FCPD (LIB 507). A light lunch will be provided. Faculty wishing to attend must RSVP by Friday, Sept. 20 to fcpd@csulb.edu.
