Commencement Flower Sales Volunteers NeededPublished: May 15, 2013
The CSULB Alumni Association invites staff and faculty members to experience the 2013 Commencement by volunteering in its flower sales booth.
Graduation ceremonies and flower sales will take place Wednesday through Friday, May 22-24, during three days filled with beaming graduates and their proud relatives.
The Alumni Association sells bouquets and leis to members of the graduating class, friends and families. Many individuals are hesitant to volunteer at flower sales because they do not feel creative or able to build beautiful bouquets but there is so much to do beyond bouquets. Plus, there are always experienced volunteers and staff in the booth to assist.
Sales proceeds support the Alumni Association Grants Program, which provides funding to university departments or programs to benefit students.
