PCSW To Hold Elections In MarchPublished: February 15, 2013
The President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) will hold online elections in March to add one lecturer and one tenured/tenure-track faculty to the commission. The electronic ballot will be sent in an e-mail from BigPulse.com. The term of office for each category is three years (September 2013 through May 2016) and meetings are from 10 a.m. to noon on the second Friday of the month during the academic year.
PCSW’s mission is to ensure the university responds to the needs of women by removing inequities and by providing a supportive educational, working and social environment for all members of the campus community. Candidates are requested to complete and submit the Candidate Election Form by e-mail to Lynisha McDuel, fax to 562/985-4439, or in person at the Veterans Affairs Services Office (Foundation Building, Suite 265) by noon on Friday, March 1.
