Lecture To Support Recovery From 2011 Earthquake, Tsunami

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a lecture on the holistic aspect of alternative medicine in the Far East on Friday, May 18, from noon to 1 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building, Room 66.

Admission is $5 for students and $10 for non-students with lunch provided. A portion of the admission fees collected will go to support Japan’s economic recovery from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

The guest speaker will be Mari Kusumi, president of the University of Human Arts and Sciences in Japan, who will discuss “The Sciences of Mind Body Correlation.” Kusumi also serves as chair of the Board of Trustees at Waseda College of Medical Arts and Sciences, chair of the Board of Trustees at the Japan Society of Health Sciences of Mind and Body and as supervising editor and author of Health Sciences of Mind and Body.
