Published: May 15, 2012

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a training program to help them better understand lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning (LGBTQ) issues and be part of a university-wide network of support.

The Safe Zone Ally Training will be held Wednesday, June 6, from 12:45 to 5 p.m., in the Karl Anatol Center. RSVP to Sharon Cruz by Friday, May 25.

After training, faculty and staff will serve as allies who use their knowledge and skills to foster a supportive and safe atmosphere for LGBTQ students, faculty and staff. Everyone who completes the training will receive a CSULB Safe Zone Ally sticker to display.
