“Saving for Retirement” Workshop Scheduled For April 24Published: April 16, 2012
To assist employees in exploring investment options available in the CSU Tax Sheltered Annuity (TSA) Program, Benefits Services will hold a retirement and financial information workshop “Saving for Retirement.” The next workshop is slated for Tuesday, April 24, from 9 to 11 a.m., in the College of Business Administration Room 237.
Even if employees are enrolled in the CalPERS or PST retirement programs, they may want to supplement their retirement benefit with additional retirement savings. You can take a step toward securing your financial future with the CSU 403(b) TSA Program, and/or the State’s 401(k) and 457 Plans. This workshop will help you in selecting an investment product and provide tools to help maximize your retirement investments.
If you are not currently contributing to a 403(b), 401(k) or 457, you can enroll now. Representatives from all five fund sponsors and the Savings Plus Program will present information about their fund offerings, answer questions, and assist employees in selecting the fund(s) to help meet their retirement goals.
Registration is required as seating is limited. To register, access the Benefits Services website. Once you are registered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Since workshops are held during normal working hours, you are asked to ensure that your appropriate administrator approves your attendance.
