Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a training program to help them better understand lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning (LGBTQ) issues and be part of a university-wide network of support.
The Safe Zone Ally Training will be held Thursday, April 12, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in The Chart Room’s Pacific Dining Room. RSVP to Sharon Cruz by Friday, April 6.
After training, faculty and staff will serve as allies who use their knowledge and skills to foster a supportive and safe atmosphere for LGBTQ students, faculty and staff. Everyone who completes the training will receive a CSULB Safe Zone Ally sticker to display.
