Campus Office Supply Swap Scheduled For April 18Published: April 16, 2012
Departments with spare office supplies in good condition that they no longer need can find a good home for them, and maybe even get something they need in return, at the CSULB OfficeMax Office Supplies Swap Meet on Wednesday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Student Union Ballrooms.
The Division of Administration and Finance’s Purchasing and Financial Management Support Services is hosting the event in cooperation with OfficeMax as part of the campus waste reduction initiative. OfficeMax suppliers also will be on hand with information about their sustainable products. In addition, guests can bring an empty plastic water bottle and get a Pilot Bottle 2 Pen gel roller made from recycled water bottles (while supplies last).
Departments with items to share should collect them in boxes labeled “OfficeMax Swap Meet” with a list of contents attached, and then contact the Receiving Office at 562/985-8119 to arrange a box pickup. Receiving will store the boxes and bring them to the swap meet. All office supplies at the swap meet are intended to be reutilized on campus.
Guests at the event will be provided with an OfficeMax recycled shopping bag to carry supplies back to their offices. Participants should bring boxes or bags to carry supplies back to their offices.
For more information, contact Mary Ann Odell in Purchasing and Financial Services at 562/985-8574.
