Fitness Classes for Faculty, StaffPublished: February 15, 2012
A pair of fitness classes being run through CSULB’s Club Sports and Recreation program are currently available on campus for faculty and staff.
Cross Training, a class that uses heavy ropes, C2 rowers, kettlebells, sport bands and medicine balls, is available Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon and 5:30 p.m. and Fridays at noon. The class cost is $40 per month.
In addition, RowFit, a rowing-based circuit class geared to improving overall power, strength, and endurance in an impact-free workout that will strengthen your core for better posture and athletic performance is being offered. Rowfit combines C2 Rowers with a variety of other tools to create intense and effective interval routines. The class is available Mondays and Wednesdays at noon and 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 8 a.m. The class cost is $40 per month.
Both classes are held in room 88 of the Kinesiology building, which is located between the east and west gyms.
For those who would like to do both the cross training and rowfit classes, cost can be combined for $60 per month.
