Larry Martinez, Political Science, had his chapter titled “Is There Space for the UN in Bonn? Perspectives on the Sustainability of Outer Space and Cyberspace for UN Organizations” published in Nina Simone Huerter and Sebastian Bruns (eds.), Nachhaltig ins 21 Jahrhundert 15 Jahre UNO Stadt Bonn Bouvier Verlag Bonn, 2011.
Ingrid M. Martin and Sayantani Mukherjee, Marketing, co-authored an article in the Journal of Research for Consumers titled “From Use to Abuse: When Everyday Consumption Behaviors Morph into Addictive Consumptive Behaviors.” The research is a result of the Transformative Consumer Research Workshop, held at Baylor University in June, where a group of eight scholars came together to develop a research agenda on addiction.
Hamid Rahai, Center for Energy and Environmental Research and Services, and his graduate student Ehsan Shamloo, co-authored a paper titled “Investigation of the Effects of Distortion on Trajectory of Diesel Particulate Matter (PM),” presented at the 64th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics held in Baltimore on Nov. 20-22. Rahai also chaired a session on industrial application.
