Signup Continues for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at CSULB (OLLI) is continuing to take signups for its winter session.

OLLI is offering a host of exciting lecture classes this winter, including these new topics – Royal Scandals, Basic Bonsai Gardening, Let’s Go Auto Racing, and others. Returning this session will be Bridge, Spanish I and II, Conversational Spanish, Paper Mâché, Watercolor Workshop, Yeats – The Later Years, and many more. For those looking to improve their health and endurance, OLLI offers Today’s Health Issues; Tai Chi Chih, and Longevity Stick.

New computer class offerings this session include Click Start Your Genealogy (Mac), Quicken (Mac), and Quick & Easy VHS Tapes to DVD Movies (PC/Macintosh). OLLI computer classes are conducted in a 10-seat PC and Mac equipped lab by skilled instructors. These and many other classes will be offered from Jan. 26–March 20.

OLLI at CSULB’s annual membership fee of $40 covers the winter, spring and summer sessions. Tuition is $10 per lecture class and $45 per computer class. Computer classes also require an annual $40 SeniorNet membership. Parking permits are available for a fee.
