Scholarly Writing Institute Jan. 6-8Published: December 15, 2008
The Office of University Research and the Faculty Center for Professional Development will co-host the next Scholarly Writing Institute (SWI) Jan. 6-8 in the Anatol Center.
The institute has been a successful and energizing event held twice a year that creates a productive environment for scholarly writing projects such as books, professional journal papers and grant proposals. Food, a comfortable writing space, enthusiastic colleagues, helpful reference books, and both editorial and statistical assistance are provided. The feedback on SWI has uniformly identified it as a very valuable opportunity.
Space is limited to 40, so please register soon. For more information, access the SWI Web site.
Because the institute has not been able to accommodate all of the faculty who have tried to register for previous sessions, there will be two SWI workshops scheduled in early June 2009. For more information about the institute, e-mail Robin Moore in the Office of University Research.
