You will lose an extra hour of sleep on Sunday, March 13, when Daylight Saving Time begins. As always, it’s recommended you turn all your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
For future reference, Daylight Saving Time begins each year at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday of March, so that’s when you move clocks ahead one hour. Standard Time begins each year at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday of November when you move clocks back one hour.
In 2011, Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, Nov. 6.
