49er Homecoming Week Set For Nov. 7-13; 49ers Take On SDSU

The CSULB Alumni Association, 49er Athletic Club, and Associated Students Inc. invite alumni and friends to celebrate Homecoming 2010, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, from noon-4 p.m. in parking lot 13, adjacent to The Mike and Arlene Walter Pyramid.

The CSULB Alumni Association will host an Alumni and Friends tent, celebrating 49er Pride and Tradition with the campus community, alumni and friends of the university. A barbeque buffet will be served from 1-3:30 p.m., with meal tickets costing $10 for children (under 10), $20 for Alumni Association or 49er Athletic Club members, and $25 for non-members. A commemorative giveaway also will be provided.

Game ticket packages are also available and include a meal and a ticket for the men’s basketball game vs. San Diego State. The cost for Alumni Association or 49er Athletic Club members is $15 for children (under 10), $25 for adult members and a guest, and $30 for non-members.

Homecoming features many free activities for the whole family including campus shuttles, private tours of the Japanese Garden and Student Recreation and Wellness Center, inflatable games, historical gallery, airbrush tattoos, caricature artist, live entertainment by the Elm Street Band, and much more. There will also be a Student Tailgate Zone and a 49er Athletic Club Tailgate Pavilion.

Homecoming festivities will be followed by the men’s basketball season opener against the San Diego State at 4:05 p.m. at The Walter Pyramid.
