Donations, Volunteers Needed for Staff Council Summer Garage SalePublished: July 15, 2010
The Staff Council Garage Sale will be held on Wednesday, July 28, close to the grassy area near the Music Department where the Summer Picnic is being held.
Here is your chance to get rid of those items that are just gathering dust. Yes, your “trash” can be someone else’s treasure.
Bring your donations to the University Bookstore warehouse (shipping-receiving area) between July 6 and July 23 (please, no furniture, large appliances or food items). All items dropped off should be in saleable (clean, gently used or new) condition and placed in a box clearly marked “Staff Council Summer Garage Sale.”
Calling all CSULB employees, alumni, staff emeriti and other supporters of Staff Council. We need your assistance to set up, staff and tear down the Staff Council Garage Sale booth between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 28. Volunteers are also needed to set up, price and sort items from 9:30 to 11 a.m. If you can spare 30 minutes or more, please contact Alma Smith by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 562/985-7385.
All sale proceeds will be used for future Staff Council Special Events such as Spooktacular, Summer Picnic at The Beach, Staff Day and other programs.
